The farm records consist of Kansas farm and household account books documenting supply inventories, seed inventories, livestock produced records, crop records, general expense records, household expenses, & budgetary records and asset depreciation records on property completed by Elton Allen concerning his farm. The account books are dated 1953-1981. The collection also contains a 4-H notebook of Boyd Allen, son of Elton and Nora, dated 1942-1952. The notebook contains narratives written by Allen on his 4-H experiences, clippings & narratives on home beautification & leadership, records on livestock & crop production as club projects, and other project records.
